About HuntDrawOdds

HuntDrawOdds is an independent project. We turn Utah's official big game draw results into pages a hunter can actually use: for every limited-entry and once-in-a-lifetime hunt, how many people applied, how many permits there were, how many bonus points it took to be sure of drawing, and your estimated chance at your own point level.

Utah publishes these numbers every year in a 592-hunt report. It's accurate but hard to read, and it doesn't tell you what your points are worth. That's the gap this site fills.

What we promise

• Every number comes from Utah DWR's report and is checked against the report's own totals before it's published.
• When Utah's numbers don't add up, we hold the hunt back instead of guessing, and say so on our methodology page.
• Estimates are labeled as estimates, and we publish how accurate they've been.
• We fix mistakes quickly. See corrections.

How the site is funded

Some links to hunting apps and gear earn us a commission, and we may show ads. That never changes the numbers. Details are on our disclosures page.
